In an initiative to maintain and promote Newah language amongst the Newah community in America, Newah Organization of America (NOA) launched the Newah Language Class Program in an event of September 7, 2003, here in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Mr. Padma Ratna Tuladhar, a dedicated human rights activist, and facilitator  was on a visit to the the United Nations in New York. Mr. Padma Ratna Tuladhar also visited Washington D.C. Metro Area to meet with fellow Nepalese here in the capital.

Padma Ratna Tuladhar was in Washington Metropolitan Area and met with the members of Newah Organization of America.

 

I was moved to read in "In Vienna museum, Nepalis worship stolen Buddha" that devotees are worshipping the image of the Patan Buddha. It shows that the icons of Nepal’s culture and religion are not some dead material objects of art.
