We are pleased to announce that the Newah Organization of America (NOA) is organizing a group Keta Puja (Brata Bandha) in the Washington, DC-Baltimore metropolitan area to be held later this year. We’re hoping to plan a traditional celebration, with program support from our own Newah priest Mr. Basav Rajopadhyaye. The tentative target for the group Keta Puja is summer 2010, possibly July.

At this point, NOA is working to establish a Keta Puja committee to achieve this goal.
