The Newah Organization of America (NOA) families are deeply saddened to share the sudden passing of Mr. Ramji Prajapati, NOA life member and beloved husband of Mrs. Durga Devi Prajapati, father of NOA life member Magan Devi and father-in-law of Mr. Nani Babu Shrestha.
He passed away in Maryland, USA on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the age of 82 years. Mr. Prajapati was a life member of ANS, Treasurer of Nepalese-American Senior Community, a founding member of ANA and NECC, outstanding supporter of Newah culture, traditions & heritage. He dedicated his time helping the community and those around him all his life. Mr. Prajapati is survived by his wife Mrs. Durga Devi Prajapati, two daughters, two sons-in-law, five grandchildren, one younger brother, two younger sisters, two sisters-in-law, many nephews, and nieces. We regret the loss of one of our own very important Newah community members who touched many lives and contributed so much during his life.
The NOA would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the entire Prajapati and Shrestha family. May god give strength and peace to the entire bereaved family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Durga Devi Prajapati and loved ones during this difficult time. Let us pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
